Absences or Lateness
If you know in advance that the participant will be absent or will be late, on any of the scheduled days, please inform the instructor or student assistant. Please email the SEA Office at SEA@umbc.edu if you are running late or have an unplanned absence (e.g. sick).
Registration & Payment
Registration and payment can be done on-line through the SEA website. All forms and pertinent information about registration dates and deadlines, payment options, cancellation, refunds and wait list policies, can be found at Register and Pay.
Permission to Photograph, Take Quotes and/or Video
We love to celebrate our SEA courses and will post pictures and videos of students working hard and having fun. When registering for the Summer Enrichment Academy, UMBC is authorized to take photographs, quotes and videos of students during activities which may be used to post or promote the Summer Enrichment Academy or UMBC, unless the opt-out choice is selected. Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement
Parents or Guardians will be required to agree to the “Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement” for each minor participant’s registration. Participants aged 18 and above will be required to agree to the “Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement” for themselves. This is a checkbox on the registration.
